Welcome Message

We warmly welcome you
to the official website of the 2025 Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Finance Ministers' Meeting (FMM) & Structural Reform Ministerial Meeting (SRMM).

The Government of Republic of Korea and APEC are proud to host the 32nd APEC FMM and the 4th APEC SRMM,
which will be held in conjunction from 21 to 23 October 2025 in Incheon.

Established in 1989, APEC has grown into the world's largest regional economic cooperation forum,
representing 37% of the global population, 49.1% of global trade, and 61.4% of global GDP.

This year's APEC FMM holds special significance, as it returns to Korea for the first time in two decades, following its last hosting in 2005.

The joint ministerial meetings are expected to draw more than 2,000 participants, including finance and structural reform ministers from the 21 APEC member economies, along with representatives from international organizations, businesses, academia, and the media.

The Asia-Pacific region is a vital hub for driving growth and innovation in the global economy. As we face new opportunities and challenges — including digital transformation accelerated by advanced technologies such as AI, as well as industrial and demographic shifts — close cooperation is more important than ever.

In this regard, under the APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting (AELM) theme ‘Building a Sustainable Tomorrow,’ we will discuss the role of innovation, finance, fiscal policy, and structural reform in promoting sustainable growth at the APEC FMM and SRMM. We will explore ways to achieve sustainable economic growth and shared prosperity across the region, while fostering a dynamic and harmonious Asia-Pacific community.

The meetings will be accompanied by seminars on digital transformation, AI, and economic cooperation; exhibitions by AI and other innovative businesses; and cultural performances showcasing the traditional beauty and pride of Korea.
I look forward to seeing you soon in Incheon — Korea's gateway to the world, as captured in the city's slogan 'All Ways Incheon.'
